any rock ordered online is going to need to be cured before adding it to an established system i dont know why online vendors offer "cured live rock"

all depends on how good your RO unit is... some of them have a hard time hitting 0 mine runs 0-1... when it hits 2... i change the filters 125 outta tap isnt too bad for tap water... some people have tapwater with tds in the couple-hundreds my tap is in the 60s... i have excellent tap... but...

its only for measuring the purity of your freshwater outta your RO unit... you want 0tds.

looks like a mag18 pump... how how high/far will it pump and how many elbows will it have in-line? usually a reef-ready 90g will run around 1000gph thru the overflow (1.25" plumbing drain) i am thinking a minimum of 20g sump would be better (and even bigger than that would help to cut down on...

the sequence hammerhead is a good choice... just be careful with that molded pvc wet-end.... i went with the cast poly wet end just because i was scared i would crack the pvc end threading fittings into it... i think the electric end is the same on both... not sure though
