German Shorhair Pointer - Best dog I ever had, she passed away 2 yrs. ago, because of the bad dog food from the recall - full of personality & tons of energy as a puppy. I was looking for another one & found a weimaraner puppy that I couldn't say no to.

Can anyone identify these two? The one on the left is definitely filter feeding - as the arms curl into the central mouth. Both of them are hitchhikers - are they beneficial? Thank you

I picked up 3 PJ's a couple of weeks ago & they don't seem to be even touching the flake or pellet food that I feed my other fish - they just pick at the algae on the tank. Going to LFS in the morning to see what else they have to offer them. What else do they eat? They seem to be healthy & happy!

I can tell you that there is a positive to this situation (in the winter time) - you don't have to run a humidifier & you are saving some money on your gas / oil bill!

I just started in this "hobby" & the first two things I learned (before I bought my first SW tank) were PATIENCE & the bigger the tank the better.

Thank you - I still plan on buying a bit more LR. The GSP opened up about 3/4 of the way already. My cleaner shrimp keeps checking it out & then it retracts.

No, thats in litres - it's actually about 66 gal. It was a complete set-up with pumps, skimmer, etc. built in. I was looking to start small when I got into SW, but everybody told me the bigger the tank the better. Now I'm hooked & already looking into buying another tank at least a 100 gal.

Just picked up my first coral - Green Star Polyp. Do I need to wait between adding new corals, like I wait for adding new fish (I usually wait at least a week before introducing new fish). It's about a 5" coral.

For the Co2 tank you can also check with a Co. that recharges or sells fire extinguishers. Do you know anybody in the HVAC trade? I can get a 20lb. cylinder full for about $20

I have a lawnmower blenny & when he isn't out eating he can hide or blend in very well. Sometimes he will be in front of my face & I don't notice him. How long have you had it? Mine hid for a day or two at first.
