OT: For those who need avatar assistance

Think you can get this little guy in an avatar for me? I can never get the file size small enough. I just want the copperband, not the whole entire shot.

    Pink Yuma Ricordia

Apparently these are supposed to be hard to find and quite expensive. I picked up this 2.5" for $45 canadian....approx $35 USD.... quite the steal from what I've been reading. Sorry for the slight blurryness. New camera hasn't been mastered yet. Close-up

Check out my ONE MONTH before and after

The copperband is in there somewhere. Must of been behind the rocks when I took that shot. Also, the coralline is well under way. I find it grows quite quickly on plastic moreso then glass. My return lines and overflow box have got spots of coralline popping up on them on a daily basis.

Pssssssst!! Someone wants to meet you!

Meet Penny, my new Copperband Butterfly. She's the newest addition and probably the last one for quite a while now that my tank is creeping up on the 6 month old mark. I told myself with this tank that I'd wait before seriously delving into the corals again, and 6 months old was the time period...

    What a HORRIBLE ROTTEN DAY

No, I didn't lose any livestock at all. I kept two maxijet 1200's going in the tank while I was working on it and I also re-added the heater once I had the bulk of the water off the floor. Knock on wood. ;)

    What a HORRIBLE ROTTEN DAY

I'm gonna try to keep this short. Here goes I came home today to a burning smell in my room....immediately checked the tank and found my heater had shorted out and melted itself around the power strip. After a struggle to remove it, I decided to remove the damaged powerbar and use a temporary...

    yellow tang?

I agree about the yellow tang. I wouldn't keep any tang long term in anything less then a 4 foot tank. Even then, only some species would I place in a 4 footer. For a tank your size, a nice medium sized fish for you would be a dwarf angel like you said. My two favorites are the flame angel and...

Mine was missing for the past 2 days....I looked everywhere for him and thought he must of died in one of the rocks.... Anyway, I decided to do one last check a few minutes ago and I found him!! Perched in between two rocks in a little cave I didn't know about it. Anywho...anyone else have any...
