    trumphet coral

don't let anything touch the heads, while they are considered hardy they will quickly die if anything is near them. I have killed a few this way. also, if you spot feed them with cyclopeeze and or mysis, it will bring out their tenticles during the daytime

    Copperband Butterfly

first, they are terrible fish to keep bc they will just die suddently for no apparent reason (well it knows why it died or that it was not feeling good) but it will look and act fine. My last one, it refused to eat (well it ate all my feather dusters) and as it was close to starvation it threw...

    Bright Pink Bubble coral

I had one, it got huge before a powerhead fell directly in back of it and blew water on it all night. it survived only a few more days after that. I do think the pink ones are the best color too!

    fighting/queen conch

also, i believe unless you have a larger tank, you cant have both as there will not be enough food. and you need to have a sandbed....made of sand and not crushed corals or barebottom

    hitchhiker ID

I recently bought some zoos and it appeared as though mini featherdusters were attached. but I am beginning to think they are not mini dusters as when they open up and touch my zoo's, my zoo's either close up or close their tenticles that are being touched. I just noticed that there appears to...

How Msny Pounds Of Live Rock Would Be used For A 90 Gallon

I have a 90g 48x18x24 and have 90lbs of fiji LR. my design is terrible as i just stacked it on top of each other and it filled from back to front, leaving 8 or so inches and then half way up the tank. it could use more rock!

    rethinking plumbimg.....questions

i get what you are saying and so basically it is impossible to functionally run 2 overflows at the same time! as theoretically it should work, but practically doesn't work bc of unknown fluctuations? do you have any recommendations for U tube overflows with a small box. atm I have alife reef and...

    rethinking plumbimg.....questions

wow, thanks. I definatly do not want to hear any slurping. is there any way around it? I was thinking that a larger pump, with a ball valve to regulate it, would always send enough water back into the display. Thus thus the overflows would always have a constant water supply. (as I would...
