Sly, Do you drain from the DT to one of your tanks with the U Tube, then to the other tank and pump back to your DT? If you just connect 2 tanks with this setup you need anther U Tube with a pump connected to keep water flowing between the 2. I use the exact same U Tube from my DT to my Fuge...

You actually be wasting money doing it that way. You are diluting the new water with nitrate laden(Sp?) water before it even gets into your tank.

I have never heard of a Sixline being a "Cleaner", but they are good for eating a lot of pests in the tank.

I think you get better flow with it off the glass. It is also more interesting IMO if the fish can swim behind and through the rocks. Just be sure they are stacked securely so they don't fall.
