Congrats! Make sure you give it plenty of light and supplement feedings with raw shrimp, mysis or silversides, preferably soaked in zoe or Selcon. Post pictures when you can!

I believe some of the older IceCap electronic ballasts may need to be tuned but am unsure of the process. If it is an older IceCap you may want to call them.

They are good to get rid of flatworms, Red Bugs and other nasties. I usually dip all of my sps in Lugols solution mixed with tank water if they are not coming from a system I know and trust!

When it comes to clams cleaning your tank they consume nitrate. People with clams in their tanks often have no detectable nitrate at all. We had a clam expert come to our club and he said the fastest growing clams he had were in a holding tank his workers urinated in (don't try this at home)...
