Don't put the cart before the horse and just get a fish with out knowing what the ____ you are doing. This is not freshwater and the poor fish will die if you don't know the last thing about cycling a tank and don't even know what it means then don't get a fish yet. Get a book on saltwater fish...

I know I have lost my mind!

I was not going to stock at the levels of the tanks in Japan. I may cancel my order for the scribbled angel and just put the majestic and the goldflake together in the 180. I think the two would get along fine together. Lesley

First Ich experience, Is this what I should do

I think the best thing you could do is remove all of your live rock and inverts to the 10 gallon or maybe even a larger rubbermaid tub with a power head. You will need to feed the crabs lightly with some sinking fish food pellets. Keep the live rock out of the tank for 5 to 6 weeks to be sure...

Need something to prevent splashing in overflow box

I take the long return pipe out and cover the overflow with a strainer at the bottom. One can also put eggcrate in the bottom. Then I fill the overflows with these 1 and a half inch bioballs and scrunch up some micron filter pads on top of that and they are a couple of inches from the water...

I know a lot of people think it cannot work but a lot of people overseas in Japan do it with successfully. These are three of the more mild...

achilles and powder blue tang in 125

Which ever tangs you decied to get I would put them in at the same time as this tends to diffuse the agression as neither one was in there first to think the tank is all his to defend against an intruder. I would make sure that the more agressive variety is smaller than the less agressive...
