is it in anyway possible to convert an onld hob filter into a sumwhat worthwhile fuge? i was thinkin id throw in sum rubble and sum chaeto with a small light mounted to the filter..and presto id have a fuge...i have no room atm to make a full size fuge....but i figure if this is even remotely...

and to think..i used one of those stupid "scoring" blades...basically a sharp razor blade..u make small cuts over and over again until u wanna kill urself..and when its cut deep enough u gotta brake the seam and hope u dont get jagged edges..but if u do..file em down...oh good times..

i just use a clean rag and sum water..spray the tank down with a spray bottle and wipe away!

id scoot the return as far away from the skimmer as possible..that way the water has just a bit longer to be sucked up and skimmed before it goes back to the tank

that would be fine..i got by with that for a long time...mind if i ask what u plan on doing with your tank?? fowlr? reef?

same as urs..29gallon..except ur tank is cooler..lol..ive been getting along fine with my setup as a fowlr but i wanna spice things up a bit and add the coral that forced me to start this hobby!

well..ur two small tanks...put my 1 tank to shame by far...but this summer i can finaly get a job..so i can afford to make my tank alot more cooler tha it is!! maybe nearly as nice as yours!
