    Can't shake Algea Bloom

The lighting may work, and you could try it for 1 day or 2 esp if you dont have any corals or inverts, but if that doesnt work i have heard people who have covered there tanks completely with dark coverings for 24-48hrs with no light and that has worked...alittle to crazy for my standards but...

If anyone is interested water changes in a severe algae bloom only make things worse, cabon will not do anything either will any other media to be honest, i dont know how a green algae bloom starts or for that matter goes away i just know it has to do with an inbalance in your water parameters...

I really need some input please!!

Velvet is alittle worse than ick from what i have heard, can knock out all your fish if your not careful, uv will kill most of the unwanted bacteria in your tank but also this could be an indication of water parameter fluctuations, have you checked you salinity? alk? Ph? nitrites stuff like...

To Sump or Not To Sump

I recently upgraded from a 30g to 65g and the sump (wetdry) thing was all new to me....When all said and done my fish seemed to be healthier and the tank seemed to be more stablized with the rate of water exhange (i am running a 20g wetdry with lr and a quietone 3000 pump-780gph) but it has thus...
