I just did it... they were probably out for 5-10 minutes and they all held water pretty well. Not too bad. It'll be interesting to see how many QT reacts to the addition of 6 fish all at once, 2 of which being fairly large tangs. :-(

I need to pull it all out to get my fish out and I do not have nearly enough buckets to put it all in water. Can it stay out of water for 15 minutes?

All the time? Some of the time? Mine is fully open from ~10am until about 3pm. Outside of those times, it is usually mostly closed up. Is this normal or is something wrong? Tank params are all good with only the dkh being a bit high.

Why is he doing this? He is a new addition to the tank, I've had him a few days. He always climbs all the way to the top edge of the water and then will bend one of his legs back just barely under the water across the top of the tank. I've pulled him off and put him back on the sand a handful...

Did you pick that up at Uncle Bill's in Fishers? They have some nice stuff, but most of their prices are off the wall.

I had one that just didn't do well at all, it was continually shrinking seemingly no matter how much I fed. :-

I don't think filtration is an issue at all, amm/trites are always 0 and trates always 5 or 0. You think it would look better, though? It seems like it would just waste a lot of space in the tank and become more cluttered.

Picked him up today, he is in QT. Good looking fish, though very shy.

Will they coexist in my 125g? My yellow tang is recently added (last week) and I spotted a great looking Kole yesterday. My yellow seems very shy and not the least bit aggressive to anything in the tank. The yellow is ~5" and the Kole ~4". What does everyone think? The Kole would be QT'd for...
