I purchased 6 green chromis from this site. One was DOA and 4 more have mysteriously died. I also purchased two more from the LFS that followed the same pattern. These fish seem completely active and normal and then seemingly each morning when I get up, one is laying dead on the ground...

I've never had to empty my skimmer much and I am curious if it is working as good as it should. I have to empty maybe 1/10th of a cup every couple of of weeks. The only time it has really filled up was when I added more LS. I've played with the air adjustment, but I haven't seen any changes...

I am thinking it is ok... the tentacles are slowly starting to fill up and the clown is already try to host it while it is 90% flat. lol

hrm... camera isn't coorperating. My maroon clown is picking at whatever it is puking out....

It has arrived completely deflated and the center of it seems to be puking out its guts/food/whatever. Is it dead or is it normal for these guys to look really bad upon arrival? I've got him in the tank now, but I don't want to leave him too long and risk having a water problem if he is dead.

You can't. You shouldn't need to vacuum sand.

I had that happen with a damsel in QT once.... never did figure out what happened to it.

Should I ghost feed semi-heavily since there will be 6 fish coming?

I run blues from 2pm-12pm, all from 3pm-11pm, and moons from midnight to 7am. This puts optimum viewing time in the evening when we're home from work.
