Thank you all for you words of inspiration!
I was just being a worry-wart, it was in the tank for about thirty miuntes, then I thought I'd ask. It opened in about 45 min-1 hour.
Hello all,
I just got some gsp! Normally when I get a coral, its open right away, but this gsp is taking a lot longer. Any reason as to why? Are they more sensitve to the water then others?
Thanks,
Austin

I don't think it is a good idea to force your clowns into the anemone, for one it would be extremley...

Just a little technicality jargon for you.
...Right, I knew that.
But really, thinking about it, that makes perfect sense!
Thanks for the correction!
I have devised a plan in which to get my clowns to host the anemone. Call me harsh, but I wish to catch the female clown in a net and force it into the anemone.
My questions are:
-Can I harm them?
-Wont affect their mental state?
-If I was to catch a clown, the female would be the ideal one...

Thanks a lot! Last night, the clowns were inches away from the anemone, I'm hoping they start to host soon.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Um, this weekend I'm going to replace the half milk jug with a mesh tent, that way it will have circulation and lighting.
Hopefully the clowns will host the anemone themselves, if not i may try catching them in the net and putting th enet up against the anemone...
I got this huge beautiful goniapora about a week ago, and now the clowns are hosting it. They lost their anemone about a month ago, so they got into the goniapora as soon as they saw it.
I decided to get an anemone to get them to host the anemone. What I did was cut amilk jug in half and put it...
I suppose that the the eel is rather docile? I tried a snowflake eel in which was very spastic. It also ate lots of my crabs. I see you have alot of those snails, i'm asuming that the eel dosent bother them? Do have crabs, too? If so, how is the eel with them?
BTW - What kinds of snails of...
I was givin two Ocean blend Additive, Parts 1(ph, alkalinity) and 2(Calcium). I was told that I should add 15 ml for 50 gallons. I dont see this being correct because it is such a large bottle and so little of it is added to the tank.
Is this correct?
Thanks,
Austin
Anyone know anything about them? There were three at my lfs and I was curious as to what they eat, reef safe, etc. Pics would be nice too if anyone has any.
They looked like they had lots of personality!
Thanks,
Austin
Oh, I use the Aquarium and Reef Center on Cape Coral parkway. I often check in on both of them to see the selection. There both good shops.
Hope you find your i.d.
Hey TeresaQ,
I'm sorry I dont know the ID of the mushroom, but I noticed that you live in the Cape. I also live in the Cape. Out of curiosity, where do you get your live stock from? Maybe we can do a trade sometime, too.
