Looking to put either a SFE or a wolf eel into my 90. Does anyone have any experence with them in a reef setting??

MH lights on a 90 gallon... 250 or 175/150??

Has anyone made there own stand pipes? OR must you but one? What about the bulkheads? Are they included? What different types of stand pipes are there? Im going from a 55 to a 90, and the 90 has an overflow, so i need to plumb this. My reef tank has sprung a leak.. so needless to say.. time...

normaly with any "package" light, you can not use it with the canopy. However, you could retrofit it to your canopy

Ive never seen 150W MH.. ive seen 175's.. but anyways... If your planing on keeping anyhting on the sandbed, i'd go with the 250's. But, if everyhting is going to be atleast 6" up on rocks or so, the 150/175 should be fine. Also, a good reflector would help you stay at the 150/175's as well...

I like your idea.... I just went over the plans with a civil/mechanical engineer. He gave me some ideas. Im gonna go to work tommorrow and update. One thng im getting rid of is the 4x6 and the 2x 12. Ill explain it all in the next post w/ the plans. BTW-What program is that?

So my two o. clowns have been co-inhabitating my 55 for about 6 mts now. Yesterday, i saw them getting more aggressive tword eachother. is this typical behavior? I know that thay will fight for dominance, but this late in the ballgame?? Thoughts?? Fitzy

you shouldnt have a problem with shrooms.... but id prob stay with that. don't get into too many corals w/o u/g ur lights
