    calcium reactor

    calcium reactor

is that directed towards me searching the board?................320 is fine for a soft coral tank....absolutely no ill effects other then a little less growth and not the battle to keep your coraline down.......many great japanese reef keepers (mostly all of them) keep their calc at that level...

    Fuzzy Drawf Lionfish in reef

for a softy tank the bioload is fine........also with the angler and lionfish your snails would not be bothered.........yes they do contribute alot of waste yet compared to a tang of the same size the waste is pretty much equal......i have seen and know ppl with this setup and they are very...

    calcium reactor

i completely disagree........if leathers contained so mcuh calcium how come they don't contribute very much to the reef structure.......also only a small % of there skeleton is made up of calcium......altho they grow faster than most peoples acros......sps will need more then double what a...

    Fuzzy Drawf Lionfish in reef

    Fuzzy Drawf Lionfish in reef

well it depends on what fish there are with him.........a nice reef safe agressive setup could be: Small Angler Lionfish Harlequin tusk and a tang that is MUCH bigger then angler Brad

    Whats your lighting system like?

my mh kick on right away....on a reef the sun comes up to close to its full power after about 30 min after it first apears on the horizon.....so a "morning" and "evening" lighting is hardly worth the trouble....and really not there on a real reef.....altho pleasing to the eye Brad

    calcium reactor

unless you have sps don't waste the money......softies do use calcium....but only in very small amounts.......just do weekly water changes and if your levels drop use E.S.V. B-Ionic Brad
