I know what the Hippo and the Yellows are!!

Bought this guy about 3 months ago and can't really find any info on him. Would help if I had a proper name I guess LOL. Not a great picture but he's pretty shy and hides when you walk up to the tank. He's about 6 inches long and I have him in my 240g. thanks!!

I picked one up a month or so ago here locally for $100. He's doing awesome and has a great friend in my blue hippo.

I love mine on my 75g. If my AquaC EV goes out on my 240g I'll replace it with a octopus

It all depends on what you'd like to keep in it. If you wanna have tangs then you'll need at least a tank that is 6ft long...some will say longer. I like my 240 gallon, it's 8ft long x 2ft x 2ft. But keep in mind you'll need more lighting, live rock, live sand, larger skimmer, larger sump...

Naso - so much personality!!! Blue Hippo - First tang and has done great Yellow - Love how bright yellow they are.

I run this on my 240 gallon. I run it externally with a mag 18 pump. http://www.proteinskimmer.com/Product%20Pages/EV240.htm You could also go up to the EV400.

Just did and it sounds like the sand is actually inside the pump

I have a extra mag 18 that I use for water changes. I was emptying out my 46g and some of the sand got sucked up and now the pump will run but won't pull any water. Anyone have this issue or now of a solution?
