Well, I vacuum the substrate, not remove the top water,so I get dozens of them. I guess they are amphopods (lil shrimpy things). Whats the difference? Are they both beneficial? MOST important, will mandarins eats amphopods or just copepods? Thanks guys

Ive been feeding my volitan live goldfish and frozen formula 1 and 2. He eats 3-4 goldfish a shot until his stomach is bursting. Ill start feeding him better now that i have better info. Blame it on bad LFS info. So what harm do goldfish do? Too much fat? Thanks Chris

My cleaner shrimp has hundreds of eggs in his body!! Ive had him 10 months and you can see little (2 pinheads each) white eggs in his abdomen. Anyone have experience with this? Ive seen it in ghost shrimp but never actually saw them hatch! Hope I get some!!!

Ive had white stringy mucus in my tank 2 or 3 times from my volitan. I figured it was venom from his spines. Once the ENTIRE tank was full. Cleaned it up and it went away. What a friggin mess though. Interested to see if you find any other info. No one knew a thing when it happened to me. Chris
