i keep my tank between 76 and 78 (usually sits at 77.something - sometimes dipping down towards 76 at night), when you go scuba diving, the cooler waters always seem to be a better dive. you can turn the a/c down some in your house to help, or even try to get the a/c duct in the room to aim...

i feed mine once a day when i get home from work, 3 times a day seems a bit much...overfeeding can cause high trite and trate levels, i wouldnt feed them that much. i have 8 fish and i crush up 12 to 14 flakes and put that in once a day. and every so often a cube of rotifers.

i have heard of people blowing their rock off with a turkey baster to stir everything up and while the stuff is still floating all around, pull the water out for the water change, it will pull some of that floating crap out.

thanks again everyone, it feels good to have someone appreciate all that we put in our tanks, wish my wife would, but she is slowing coming along. i heard the sun coral was difficult, but if you find something it likes to eat, it shouldnt be too bad. mine likes rotifers, i dont even have to...
