Thomas! Thank u! I have the red and white kind. Thank u! I think I have a feather duster and a polyp too. They are only about 3-5 mm high. The branch stuff looks like twigs that are 1-2 inches in length. I'll post a pic. Thank u and could u plz identify that twig stuff? Thank u!!!!!:)...

Thomas, those formanifer thingees, r they that purpleish branch stuff 2? What do they do? Do they get bigger? As for the feather duster and polyp, I think I have 1 of each, cause I touched em and they hid inside their "stalk". Is it possible? Thanks

I got some other stuff to ask u about stuff growing on LR. There r these branch things that are red to a purpleish color on my LR. What r they? Is it possible that a feather duster and a polyp be growing on my LR 2? Thanks

Thanks to Zap 800 I can post pics . I took a pic of something on several of my LRs. It looks like a white root growing out of the rock. Sorry about crappy pic.

My Ammonia is low and it has spiked. I will need to wait about 4 days for my nitrite to come down(in the process of spiking). My trustworthy LFS said that and I think it is true. BTW, I put a shrimp in there before for about 3 days. That could have helped. I now have 11 lbs. of LR. I'll try...

Alright, the first question. I tested my water yesterday and it read Ammonia-1.0(rised from 0) Nitrate-20 Nitrite-5.0 pH-8.4 SG-1.022 temp-81-82 I tested it today and the paraqmeters were Ammonia-0.25 Nitrate-20 Nitrite-2.0 pH-8.4 Sg and temp about the same Has mt ammonia spiked already or is...
