no they recommend a mj500. they are a company not a forums board using acronyms. maxijet is does not make a 500. mj500 stands for minijet 500 i believe. do a quick search for it.

you can always place a platform underneath it the spreads out the weight over a slightly larger area and across all of it evenly, as opposed to some stands that are on legs. the platform will rise the tank as well, which can be a good thing. i like raised tanks IMO. just make sure it is level.

that thing is way too powerful. you need a mini jet or a water lifter and even then, it needs to be carefully regulated. the media should just barely be moving at the surface. any more and then media will tumble and get pulverized and enter the water column which is very bad!

agreed, that it is likely a BW ocellaris, as there is no BW percula. however, be sure that is an ocellaris as there a few other species of clowns that can have BW morphs. however, the other species are not as common in the trade and are usually more expensive.

usually there is enough trace iodine in a reef salt to never have to dose it. you can easily over dose iodine, so stick to the classic rule of thumb : "dont dose what you cant test for"
