dont trust a LFS to test your water, they are using the cheapest stuff most of the time and not reading it or performing the tests with any accuracy. get yourself the decent quality ones and test your own water for the essentials. did you drip acclimate the fish? something you may want to look...

do not use tap water. use only RO or RO/ DI you need to test certain levels of your water parameters, if you cant because the test kit cost is too much, then this is not the hobby for you, as this is a very expensive hobby.

your anenome was probably MUCH better off in the tank than a tub of tap water... its likely dead by now. do a massive water change, check your levels.

put it this way, i lost a rock of mint GSP behind my rock and it stayed there assumed dead for 2 months with no light. i then had to redo my rock work and found the piece with flesh on it still... right now it has about 20 heads on it out and growing ^^
