its just not worth it simply because of the availability in the hobby. T-5 is now very popular and has many websites dedicated to selling the various whole sale companies' bulbs that are made for aquariums.
hey guys, i have sort have taken a bit of a hiatus from the boards as of late. been pretty busy, and lack of funds has slowed my progress. at least i already own the wood to finish the canopy so work can resume on that shortly when i can get isty back down to my place to help.
livestock-
i...
i have had emerald crabs that have been bleach white and even red. it looks exactly like one that just happens to be black. he even has the flat pincers for pulling algae. although it is still a safe bet to pop in your fuge, as "crabs will be crabs"
this weekends updates:
live stock ^^
i purchased a small Blue Spiny Reef lobster!
And my first foray into SPS! (well , after monty caps)
i got 1 frag of teal , blue tipped bali acro
and 1 frag of an ORA green stylophora
WOOOOT light acclimating them by starting them off in the sand. so far so...
i love it so far! the bulbs cost me 280 bucks for 14. all bulbs break easy, what sort of comment is that? just be careful with them. it would be a pain if i had to replace every 6 months like MHs but t-5s last 2 years!
nice zoos. nothing you can do but keep your water quality great. and your bulbs new if they get old. dont use additives as you never want to add anything you cant test for.
