If you're on a low budget get a coralife super skimmer. You'll need a hang on model so thats probably the way to go

what do you guys think about the nautilus skimmers? I have a CSS but i'm trading it to a friend for his kent nautilus skimmer w/ mag 7 becuase i'm upgrading and h'es downgrading. What do you guys think of these skimmers?

why block them?

you'd be able to keep anything with the 150 w HQI, but the t5's would be great too....if only they had a fan...for the price i go with jbj

I would still move them to be safe, have you seen the extended sweeper tentacles yet? I'm not sure but i think those are the ones they sting with.

No that stuff is not neccesary. neither is an RO unit at first, but all of those things are very handy to have later. just the the tank. lighting, sump, skimmer, heaters, pumps, and LR and LS, we'll go from there once your cycle is complete

they're the nicest pumps IMO

I think the just wanted to put like a small rio in there for flow. But the pump upgrade would provide the same effect.
