YEA YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN??? I have the exact same things on my zoos as well and I posted recently. They said it is some sort of sponge but I highly doubt it. It grows off rocks in a branching fashion and sorta smothers your zoos in the stalk area...I have the exact same problem. BUMP BU BUMP...

From my experience, some urchins eat coralline so be aware.

What is this white phlegm-like goo growing on my rocks and growing on my zoos. It seems like branching white fibers that wrap around the rock and zoos. How do i get rid of it? Thanks, Andrew

cool tank! I also have 250W DE MH 14k bulbs and my caps do great and grow fairly quick.

I keep one side clear....the other side is sorta adjacent to the wall so i let the coralline grow.

haha I was like, dang those rocks look new...yea anemones should be introduced to a reef that has been established for...I believe the standard is 6 months...but I personally wouldn't do it until 8-10 months...for now, I'd stick with leathers, zoos, and mushrooms...eeeeeasy. Xenias are good...

Your tank seems new...judging from the rocks...how old is it? I'm asking because water parameters do not necessarily indicate the age of the tank (the bacteria level etc). I think you xenia will have a good shot at surviving and proliferating.

Your lighting looks hella weak...what are you using?

I have 14 k hamiltons but would like to try 10k for the more natural colors. It's all a matter of preference really.

I'd move him up way higher closer to the light and I think he will stay put.
