This is how it was explained to me by the Saltwater Guru at my LFS: So there are 37 gallons in your system. You take out 5 gallons for your weekly water change in exchange for "clean" saltwater. That is 13% of your system's volume. Not that much, you'll always be playing catch up instead of...

29g The Not So Nano... Nano

I don't directly feed them anything. When I feed MC there is a lot of extra stuff in the water that I blow in their direction. I have been wanting to try roti-feast or cyclopeeze or something. Do you like coral frenzy better?

29g The Not So Nano... Nano

Everyone is fat and happy! The six line is keeping the flatworms in check which is awesome. My blenny is eating a lot of excess algae along with the Marine Cuisine and Formula 2 that I feed everyone else. And my O. clown and Gramma are big pigs as usual. I'm noticing a lot of growth from my all...

You can do water changes whenever you want. I wouldn't but that is just me. The water change schedule is up to you. How much water can you easily change at one time? If it is 10 gallons I'd try to shoot for every week. 10-15 gallons every other week or 20 gallons every three. I'd do 15 every...

To be honest I'd toss both the cartridge and biowheel. Anything that holds/collects gunk from the tank causes problems down the line. If you don't mind cleaning it then it's not a problem. You'd be better off by getting a bag of carbon/chemi pure/purigen and/or making some sort of fuge. What...

My New 24 JBJ Nano Cube

I don't know about the others, it has been really quite here. Probably another nano site. I think they took down the classifieds because it competed with their sales on this site. That is a good cuc, hopefully it'll take care of the algae fast.

DC's new 12g Aquapod nano reef setup

https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/atype/0/Articles Try this ^ It is a great option for the AIO tanks. Or you can google "DIY fuge for aquapods" I'm sure there are a ton of options out there.

Almost all of the goby family can go in your tank. I like the clown gobies too but I think the yellow watchman is my favorite goby. I have a royal gramma in my 29 and he is great. Awesome colors. The tailspot blenny is my all time favorite nano fish. Lots of personality, very cute, and he'll...

I started my tank with tap. I figure since it has to cycle the extra crap doesn't matter. When buying your salt make sure it has something in it to stabilize pH. For CUC it depends on your tank's bio-load. I'd start with 5 small nassarius, 5 cerith, 5 trochus. And then you can add more when...

Looks great! That base rock has some great shape. My pH is consistently at 7.8. I use a buffer to bring it up but if you stick with a weekly water change schedule it'll get up there. Do you mix your own saltwater?

    75 Gallon Reef (LifeReefer)

Get a sixline, it'll keep those flatworms in check. Or even better looking is a yellow coris wrasse. I'm digging that green birds nest btw, one of my favorite corals.

That thing is sweet, I'm totally setting up a tank for one. What are the easiest characteristics that I should look for in a warty to make sure it is a warty?

Best 10g or less all in one???

First time looking at one of those. They look slick and it looks like you can make a fuge out of the back pretty easily. It is expensive though.

zoaid.com <great place to zoa names. I think you have either the whammin watermelons or eagle eyes (the ones with the red/orange ring) and radioactive dragon eyes with the bright green centers, maybe.

Best 10g or less all in one???

No hard feelings, it just people take the old cj's rip out the engine for a chevy block, throw on some beefier axles, a little change here and there. So is it still considered a Jeep?
