    Is my Sump Correct?

I didn't know if this is common practice or not, but mine comes down from the over flow through rock rubble macro algae and mangroves then my skimmer pump and return pump are back to back in the last section and the skimed water is droped over the return pump. I also have a phosban reactor(with...

first time sump / wet-dry questions

Best thing to do is lay it all out and take pics that way because it's hard to tell what's what. Start with the wet/dry where do you want it to sit? Most hobbyists put them under the tank in the stand. Then look at the best place to put the over flow box more then likely in the corner of the...

27 day of the uncured LR!

Nothing good happens in this hobby over night...Don't rush it it will all be worth it in the end. Once your Nitrites fall off you still will have Nitrates to deal with they should come down a little faster. Just take it slow.

    Test kit question

I had a friend come and test some water for me because I think my master kit is out dated. I mostly use API for Ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, but he used a salifert to test my nitrate level I did see any reason to test for ammonia or nitrite and he got a reading of 2. My question is what would...

Lighter on the top and fade to a darker blue halfway down the wall. The tank is the only thing in the room other...

alk and cal levels NEED HELP

As said above you don't have anything in your tank to use a lot of Cal. that's why it's so high. For your Ph as long as you set your water change water up about 24hours before you use it with a power head and heater your PH will be fine. No need to worry about DKH at this point IMO there is no...
