    Had an ACCIDENT...help!

Does that website actually sell stuff...I thought it was purely informative. The only link I see is to a competitor is one where the owner is being sued...who in their right mind would buy from that company?? :)

    feather duster poped out!

Yes, featherdusters are light/water movement sensitive and will close up if they sense a predator. But did you see the crown or the actual worm itself? Featherdusters will sometimes drop their crowns (their "feathers") when they are stressed. But if the worm is still living in the tube, he may...

    What fish in YOUR nano.

I don't want to start anything, Debbie...but that seems a little crowded to me. I would be hesitant to keep even one fish in a 10 gallon...let alone three. The clown is probably getting after the other fish because he's fighting for his territory in such a small space. Yes, they may be...

    anyone know?

You're talking about the brown tube-like formations, right...not the red coloration on the rock. Good be some form of coral or maybe feather dusters...?

    Sfe With Mushroom Corals

I think that the reason they list the eel as non-reef safe is because they will snack on inverts...ie. snails, crabs, etc. I would think they would be ok with the corals though...

    Difficulty feeding starfish...

I'm having some difficulty feeding my orange sea star. I've had him for about two months and he's still active, so I'm sure he's scavenges some. I've tried multiple times to put some seaweed selects and mysis underneath his body or in his arms, but he never grabs on or just moves away from it...

    What to use...Refugium? UV? Skimmer?

True, UV sterilizers do kill beneficial as well as harmful bacteria. But if you're doing a fish only (which you're not), it can be useful in preventing diseases and such. As for the macros...here is some advice from Kip: "all caulerpas can go sexual... when this happens their spores are...

I've found a person selling as follows for $25! : "250 watt ballast, It will work with a 500watt also... This unit takes a double ended bulb. This auction does not include the bulb.. You get the reflector, ballast, and all the wiring..." This sounds like a good deal, but what is involved in...

    What to use...Refugium? UV? Skimmer?

First off...Welcome to the Board. Secondly, it's finally good to see someone who has done some research before diving in. My first step would be to change the filtration. I've had Emperors in the past and while they are ok filters...you could have better. You might want to look into some...
