the divider looks good. now you need and overflow box. that pipe that runs from the tank to the refugium you need to take take that cap off cus you are restricting flow. you also have to put some type of tray to put that filtering cloth. remember you need a bigger pump.

hi again, you also have to get a new pump and new 1 inch tubing (pvc) its better, it will not restrict flow, your pump wil perform better.

the cycle beging in the overflow box there it is syphon down to the filtering media and bioballs there is a divider there, then passes to the refugium where the sand and chaeto algae is then you have two dividers so the water goes under and over to the pump area then is pumped back to tank, now...

on the refugium looks good but i will give you an idea put another divider on the refugium part not the pump side so the water goes under and over to the pump that way you dont pump back bad water. if you want let me know and i will post pics on my tanl so get an idea.

i have the same problem but i just remove the broken ones, i was told that is normal, its happens cus the top chaeto gives shade to the lower ones so the lower one does not get enough light.
