i think the bubbles are coming from the pump try putting the pump deeper

no the hole i made its about 1/8" and it does not take air, check your pump, maybe you dont have it deep enough.

ok the cap can stay. i think he is going to have a very hard time adjusting the flow rate with the pvc valves. thats not new for me i try that already before and i ended up buy the overflow box. he can make work but every day he will have to readjust. if he uses the overflow box he would not...

or you can open alot more holes but bigger diameter.

if i where you i will remove that cap, and let the water flow as freely as possible, remember the more water you can move in one hour the better.

the angelfish is a Vermiculated Angelfish. and filtering cloth is very easy to find any aquarium place should have it. its very cheat its about $5 for like 4 feet.

after i got home from work i found my yellow tang dead and wrasse is not there, i think it dissapear and the new angelfish is in a corner, the coral beauty its fine but still gruppy with the new anglefish
