here is what the hookup looks like

I use a Aqua FX machine, works very well ,I use a TDS meter that gives me readings of 0 ppm , so the water is very pure, I understand now how it will be hooked up , as long as the copper tube is used before its ok , most home pipe uses copper anyway, What I did is hook mine up in the laundry...

Why would you use copper tubing? NOT reef safe , use the plastic tubing that comes with it, If I were you I would put a tee fitting in, so as not to use that piercing type setup, Just my 2cents, What kind of unit is it? maybe someone with the same one can help

2 part here, I use Natureef Calcium and Alk additives, keeps everthing in check, only other thing I add is phosphate remover

No gaurantee on clowns and anemones , some times they take sometimes not, it took months for my perc clown to take to his pick of anemones, he was tank raised, they take longer, if at all, my gold stripe clown went right to my sabae anemone in 2 minutes, he was wild caught,

Salt does not evaporate , it stays in your tank, I lose about 1 to 1 1/2 gallons a day, with MH on I expect it to go to 4 gallons per day, just dont let water level get too low so you have to add so much at once, an auto topoff is ideal:)
