Calcium in my tank is only 350 this is down from it being over 500 when i used OCEANIC! Whats a good way to boost it back up to 400-450? :help:

No it doesnt look like a stomatella... damn and my camera phone wont be here till next week.. its really freaky looking the foot looks normal... but its main part of the snail is exposed and is twirlled up at the end like it would be in the shell.. I wonder how the heck it lost its shell.

I came home and couldnt find my RBTA... it had been attached in the same place for nearly a month... i took down some rock work and found it pretty shriveled up behind a rock... i got it to let go and put it on the highest point of live rock to hopefully see if the stonger light will bring it...

If they are like little tubes and the bases alittle coiled up they are a type of snail i believe .... a snail that does move... look in the hitchhiker thread for a better pic.... they are completely normal and they are filter feeders... they will sometimes extract a string of saliva looking...

If your looking for ACTIVE hermits, try Zebra Hermits, or Tri-Color Hermits... Scarlets, Red legs, and Blue hermits dont move a whole bunch. Unlike this happy little guy>
