I've never heard of that either but any skimmer is better than none. I have a coralife super skimmer on my 55 gal. I've heard bad things about them but I LOVE mine. It pulls so much muck out of my water it's alarming. It cost me about $120.

Go as big as you can. I'm still not sure about the tang vs. tank size thing. I think each fish is different kinda like people. But if I could I'd get a 90 bow. but that $ thing!!!

hi guys I made it even easier I bought a coralife super skimmer from a store online. It was about $120 but it has everything you need with it. And it works perfect on 55 gal. Saltwater has enough other stuff to worry about make it easy when you can.

I would bring the temp. up to 78 and like scott asked what kind of cleaning crews do you have. I have a lawnmower blenny ( I know a lot of people don't like them ) that does a great job. He's an algea eating machine. :hilarious

Yeah, I also have a 2 stripe and he's kinda that way. He like to pick on smaller fish. But as he's getting older he seems to be calming down. Mine's about a year old.

I have about 2 inches of live sand on the bottom of the tank. And only have aboout 25 lbs. of rock maybe 30lbs. I put the biggest part of the rock in the 55 gal. And sorry but you don't have to be rude.

I wouldn't put much faith in anything the lfs tells you. Like he said they're trying to sell fish. Damsels do get mean, I have a little 2 strip that still chase after every fish in my 55 gal. and theres only 4 fish in it. I love him though. He's funny. :hilarious

I'm trying to make my own nano out of this 10 gal. I think I'll put some polps and mushrooms in it later. But I'm not sure yet.
