hey guys, they are giving me a new complete fixture, and i can run the new light on it, i guess it just blew out cause of whatever........ because the fixture says i can use the t12 bulb...

so, i would like to add a few more fish to my 70g tall........ the fish in there now are all perfectly healthy (3 inch hippo, sialfin, two percs, mandarin) i would like to add two neon gobies, and maybe a flame angel....... Do I have to treat them w/ hyosalinity b4 adding? or can I put them in...

and of course if they/ when the get to be 9+ plus (if) they will be taken out for the other tank, or traded for smaller tangs(i like the smaller ones anyway!)

i agree... but in my 75 i have a blue hippo and a sailfin, along w/ a pair of percs... they all swim togther, love each other, bla bla..... water is perfect....... so untill i see signs of aggression or poor water quality there they stay.... and there is plenty of swimming room in this tank...

can't go wrong w/ some blue hermits... my puffers were never able to eat them (hawians n tobies...)

just put like 6 in there and see what happens, it worx or it dosen't..,. thats how this hobbie is w/ fish sometimes.

maybe for a lil bit... u gotta trust me though, he loves it.... just chills, n eats..... this is the second one i had... (my gf killed the first one after we had him for 3 yrs by not using ac, temp went to high, made them sick, killed them) i'll start an aggressive tank in a couple months........

dam.... i guess i need another tank now! i think i may keep him in there...he's very small..... my gf's tank is doing great, and i don't want to take any kind of chances right now... so in the future, i should always hypo fish b4 adding them to the main tank? i do want to pick up some...

def put a baby blue tang in there... but i would keep it in a qt tank for two months! hawian blue puffers are great too sailfin tang kole tang and a mandarin in a yr.... don't do all those tangs though.... there are plenty, tangs are my thing though

it is a qt tank... i just keep the chromis in there for the tank to keep running, and the yellow goby is very aggressive so i took him out of my gf's tank....... he even attacks the puffer........ so its a bad idea to use this tank for a qt? like if i keep a fish in there 1-2 months and...

ok, i put the old bulb back in.... its not working and i can't find the fuse.... its a oceanic 36 inch deluxe flurescent reflector 120 volt 38 watt 60 hz the bulb that blew was a coralife 30 watt 1.5 inch diameter, but fit fine in the fixure..... and worked for 6 hrs or so...... were did...
