I was just down at the LFS and the guy was telling me the light i would need for corals was a coral life 260 watts and it cost 269.99 this would be for a 55 gallon tank....... Is this correct or could i get by with something less and for what price? All i reallly plan on having is some anemoies...

LOL dont think i need a ton of dead rock... but thanks for the info.... she is definently warming up... we were at her aunts house for easter and her aunt has a 20 by 10 foot granite koi pound with 42 fish in... ranging from 10 inches to 2 and a half feet... it was awsome the fish will come up...

Well she came home the other night and saw i was still checking out this website... Then she got all mad saying we cant afford! its to much work and this and that. So i told her ok your right it is to much money.. On the way home Easter Sunday i told her i was still thinking about getting a tank...

i mean i definently need a filter of some sort... is a protein skimmer just a better filter? or should i use both? or is one or another ok?

Does the good water from the RO come out of the faucet??? or what? Is it a inline filter? or is there a seperate line that would have to stay shut off under the sink

thanks for the input dav..... Are RO/DI's something thats permentnly set up behind my tank? or to my sink? Or is it something i pull out of storage when i need to filter 10 gallons of water or more?

I think her bigger beef is the maintenace over the cost..... Her attitude changed cause we couldnt find a regular clown at the LFS... they had clowns but they werent the one she apperantly wanted.... Im not done harping working her yet... we are doing easter eggs tonight... we will talk mor...

NANO's are smaller right? is that the only difference? How hard would it be to switch from a Nano to a full size tank.. We could try a NANO to see if we like it and can handle it... then move to bigger if we decide we like it.
