i agree cincy...my hippo got really nasty as he got bigger. he's about 7" now and even tries to "tail bash" my longspined urchin. he'll get stung by the urchin and then come back for more. He was such a "model citzen" a couple years ago.

i have a GSM clown that's 5+ years old. Went thru 3 tank moves and has laid eggs twice even though she had no mate SHe's still kicking up a sand storm

bannerfish are a far cry from a moorish idol :) , but a cool fish in their own right. IMO BTW nice tank Red...your tanks keep getting bigger and bigger :D

how high do u keep you return pipe on the Nautilus TE? i have mine just below the top black ring and it seems to skim a little too much (the skimmate is more clear than dark). SHould i lower the return pipe?:help:

i'm pretty sure its Lympho...the bumps are very irregular in shape and size (1mm to 3mm) and only 1 or 2 on each fish. the fish also do not seem to be bothered by it. i've read that lympho can be transmitted through direct contact b/t fish..is that correct? that would explain why only my...

I want to start to make my own food for my fish and am wondering who makes their own food? what are the ingredients and how do you prepare it? i think my fish are getting bored with the same ol stuff :thinking:
