    thoughts on other life..

As far as other life being out there, I say it is a definate probibility, considering how humoungously big the universe is. Now, about the whole 'how old is the world', carbon dating is proved to work because it is being tested all the time. Take a leaf, for instance. When you pluck it off the...

    It's not fair

About the death penalty, IMO death is not as bad as being a prisoner for your entire life, cut off from everyone, cut off from what makes life worth living, knowing that this is what the rest of your life will be like. That being said, I do not like the death penalty. The perpetrator should...

    Can anyone ID this?

Well, a lot of good info ! I think this is goniopora, first of all because the coral definately retracts in to a hard, flat skeleton. No lumps or tubes, only protrusion in the fleshy polyps. I do not have any skimmers, but I do have a very deep sand bed ( 2-4 inches). This seems to account for...

    Show your Acans!

Wow, Awesome echinatas My LFS had a batch of around five or six echinata colonies, all mislabeled "closed Brain/favites", but oddly enough the person who helped me knew exactly what they were and what they need to do well. I naturally picked the most interesting colony, but none of the...
