    i also know of a place to get the LR realitivly cheap it is at live aquaria online. if this does nto show up e-mail me and i can tell you. you can also use LACE rock, to mix it with the live rock it is about 2 bucks a lbs and comes in all different sizes and shapes.

    well i do have a fuval 404 and lace rock and CC mixed together. i know that the skimmer does help and i am planning to get one bc i will have over 100 lbs of LR. oh and is it better to buy un-cured live lock or pre-cured. i can buy uncured for 1.75 a lb.

    well i am using a SEA CLONE 100. I have a 80 gallon tank and the skimmer is about 80.00 at petsmart. it bubbles a bit for the first 4-5 days but after that it is seeming to run just fine and is pretty quite. good luck finding one you like
