anyone run a 5000k bulb? thinking of trying one over a 10k bulb i know if would be yellow but my wife likes the color and says it looks natural. seen tank pic's online of 5000k or 6500k and the tank corals were brown. anyone running a low kevlin and getting good coral color?

just set up 50mg red sea ozone and set at 25%. is this a good starting point? my water is already clear but hoping for even better thanks

salt level is low, your in hypo salinity. raise your salinty slowly. a reef tank salinity should be around .24 to .26

50 mg/hr up to how big of tank? 100 mg/hr? 200 mg/hr? i read somewhere that recomends 10mg per 25g of water they say alittle ozone goes a long way thanks

you should really save your money and invest into a quality skimmer. get a big skimmer to hopefully upgrade to a larger tank one day :joy:

could also be lack of flow. as corals grow flow needs to increase. it becomes difficult to get flow to the center of corals as they grow. have you imported wild recently? if so inspect new corals closely and do lugal iodine dips before placing in tank. best of luck if coral bleaches any more...
