I love the Coral Beauties :cheer: Aside from a tendency to get ich as soon as you put them in a tank, they are very easy to care for. They seem to take to flake food and are good take mates. I find mine pecking at alge on the live rock all the time. -Dusty

I figured there had to be something you could use that would be easier than what I posted above, so I did a little research and came across a product which claims that you can "sand" scratches out of any acrylic tank even with the water still in it. It is called a "Micro Mesh Scratch Removal...

Pentair Aquatics (sp?) makes a scratch removal kit. However, you need to empty the tank to use it, which is a real pain. Light scratches can also be buffed out, but this really isn't practical in small tank home use. -Dusty micechat.com

I keep green mushrooms and clove polyps without any problems. The cloves have been spreading very quickly.

Are the moon lights LED? I'd be worried about extra heat in such a small tank. I bet they are. Running a second timer shouldn't be a problem. You could plug two of them directly onto a power strip if you wanted to. I have four little LED spotlights (blue and green) that are on a timer...

Also bought a Flame Angel which came down with Ich as soon as I got it home. I think the flame Angels are prone to this. But I've also had very good luck with it just going away if I keep the fish healthy and eating. I don't know if they scratch the ich off on the live rock, or if my cleaner...

I've got almost the identical setup and have not had trouble finding bulbs. As much as I hate to admit it, I've had good luck finding bulbs for my Eclipse hoods at *****. Although my LFC will order them for me if they don't have them in stock. -Dusty micechat administrator
