Here is my tank stats: 90 gal ammonia/nitrate/nitrite all within acceptable limits Ca is @ 430 Alk is 9 Temp at 76-78 Ph is 8.2-8.4 Tank wa originally setup in a 75 and switched to the 90 approx i month ago.

I have just placed a new sebae one week ago and he as fine until yesterday i noticed he was unattached and drifting somewhat . He still has a sticky texture to his tentacles but also has a clear tissue matter in his center. He was originallyattached to a rock which i have found out is a no-no...

I have added a new sebae and he was fine after week one until today he seems to be floating and lethargic in appearance. I did initially place him on a rock and I know he needs to be in sand. He is in the sand now. Can anyone advise me what can asist acclimate him and perk up his health?

Go to your local ambulance and ask them for a 1000cc iv bag of Normal saline and a standard dripp set. They will usually let you have one and empty it. Use a syringe (medical) to fill it back up with the kalk. The paramedics will usually be willing to show you how to reload the iv bag. Works great!

Thats what i though the case would be but i did want to get some perspectives from others that may have done this before. I plan on mixing the old into tyhe new sand as a mixture rather than a layer of old live sand over top of the new layers. Do you think this is ok to do that way with the sand...
