    I used that brand before it does take some time, about 30 min. with good circulation. I highly urge you to start buying instant ocean. It's disolved in minutes and ready to go. It is recommened though, to let sit and aerate(sp) for some time.

    At first you had no fish in your tank now you do. Creatures aren't as dumb as we sometimes think. They sense predetors in the tank now so they are taking shelter. I sure when the lights go out they're all over the place.

    I have a 125 gallon tank and I use a Berlin Turbo Classic skimmer and I works great. Imidiate results. It's the only one I have had experience with so of course it's a bias opinion.

    I'm sorry LionKeeper, you should test your tank water before and after you dose to see what level your at. You want to be between 420 and 500. Dosing as I do with the product I use it raises my calcium 12ppm each time.

    What ever product you're using should tell you on the bottle. I use the powder from Seachem(Reef Adv. Calcium). I use one teaspoon every 40 gallons. I also have a 125 gallon tank.
