love these little pico tanks... You gonna do an auto top off for that? I have the 2 gallon at my office at work and used to lose about half a pint a day before the auto top off. Just saying cuz it throws the salinity around a bit

There was a thread about this not to long with using the salt from the "bottom of the barrel". Everyone had different views on using it but imo it sounds like the last bit of salt may have possibly gotten wet or exposed to air. Like jax said just let it sit for awhile and see if it dissolves...

82 is a little high. What kind of light are you using and how many pumps? Chiller is overkill for a nano imo... you can get clip on fans from bidding sites that drop the temp... just make sure you buy american and not overseas or youll be doing some electrical splicing

They are pretty hardy fish but in my opinion they are happiest in groups... I would suggest to stick with your original clown pair and do a blenny, pseudochromis, or goby of some sort. There are so many species to pick from those last three im sure you'd find something good.

How long has your tank been cycling now? Live rock will usually "condition"/ cycle the water for you.

This is my 20 gallon frag grow out tank. I have a hang on back refugium and 1 kor nano wavemaker on it. The light is a 96 watt t5 fixture and I have no problem keeping any kind of coral under it. Just giving you my equipment list if you wanted to go that route.

If the bottle doesn't work out I would try just sticking your arm in the tank and letting them come to do what comes naturally to them.... They will pick all the dead skin off your hand... Kind of creepy feeling but i was able to cup mine in my hand and remove them when they went rogue and...
