You definitely need a chiller. I just got one because my halides were raising my temp about 3-4 degrees. So now it stays steady at 79 degrees. I got a great price for one on ---- about 300.00 it is rated for a 75G but I got it on a 54G.

To upgrade a 150W metal halide system to 250W would i just need to change the ballast?

By the sound of it I think it is a Nudibranch. If it just appeared it maens it was a hitchiker on some new rock or coral you purchased. It is harmless and loves to eat algae. But I still want to see a pic.

Yeah it catches palnkton and stuff with those sweepers.

It is ok, My coral banded jumps on my frogspawn and sometimes steals food right from the frogspawn mouth after I placed it there. My hermits and cleaner shripm always hover or walk on some of my coral especially my giant leather.

Mine does the same thing when he eats, at first he swells up sometimes with his sweepwer out and the shrivels up. It happens once in a while especially at night.

You know to be honest I dont have a test kit for that. I am ordering one as we speak.

Why does my PH drop dramatically in a couple of days. itook a measurement of 7.4 a couple of hours ago before adding a PH/alkalinty buffer to bring it back to 8.0-8.2 My calcium level tests at 400PPM Everything is is in check as well. I leave my Fuge light on 24 hours.
