i just bought a carpet anemone todayu and put him in my tank. 2 seconds later a small fine mist came from him, is he goin to the washroom or what??

how long do u have to usually wait for your tank to cycle for a reef tank? is there a length of time you are supposed to wait before u can put in corals? what kind of additives should i put in the tank for my lr and anemones and inverts? :rolleyes:

can they get ick or just fish?? :p

i was doin hyposalinity and my fish are breathing extremly rapid. their mouths are opening and closing like a hundred miles an hour. one is on its side. whats goin on? plz help me. the salinity is now at 1.0012.

im about a little over a month now into my new tank and im already getting red algae and its slimy.. i put my powerheads lower to circulate better. is there anything else i can do to get it out?? i scooped lots if not almost all of it out with a net. should i keep the lights off? less food? and...

i also would like to ask if another kind of buffer would be recommended like ph up or down??

i need a buffer for my tank because the ph is low. i seen one kind at the lfs store and it was made by seeachem and said 8.3 stable. on the back it also said that even if u overdose it wont go over 8.3 or something. is this true ??? is this product good or bad?? thanx <img...
