And there pretty docile as far as eels go.

Still, try the snowflake eel. Its almost impossible for them to die. They are a great eel to start whith. They are beutiful and don't get any bigger than 2 or 3 feet.

Lions are pretty lazy so it may be good for quite a while. You would just have to make sure you were going to upgrade though.

Oh yea, my lfs said they have found them dried as a piece of beef jerkey and still living. They said they just throw them back in the tank and once they rehidrate(sp?) they are back to normal.

I just bought a snowflake eel for my new tank. This is a great creature w/loads of charactor. I added him to a new tank but I am running a matured filter in the tank. My lfs told me its nearly impossible to kill them. They do not seem to need a large cave. Mine just twists around one rock. Pics...

You could, but it would be a tight squeeze. The average 55 gallon tank is 50X13X20. The regal would get to 12 inches. The yellow tang would be better because they only grow to about 8 inches.

Its nearly impossible to keep a jellyfish alive in captivity. They are best left in the wild.

Jellyfish need a round tank w/lots of current to survive or they will die.

according to this site, valantinis are reef safe but not w/shrimp. What other fish do you have now?
