I had one as a hitchiker on some LR and used Aiptasia Control on it Sunday, worked like a charm. Thing melted before my eyes. Still have the rock in quarentine in a bucket to make sure it dosen't come back or any more show up. Hopefully I caught it before more appear.

Well, nice to hear someone else had an emerald crab eat one. I swear I had one eat one the other day. I saw the start of an outbreak, went and got some stuff, and lo and behold, it was gone after I saw an emerald crab near it. Now I know I love these guys!

I have a whole small rock full of these too, and I've been trying to figure out what they are for weeks. Seem pretty happy, and they have more of a coral mouth. Only diff between mine and renogaw's is an orange insides, same mouth and "tenticals."

I have a small rock full of the same thing in the second picture. Similar to an Orange Ball Anemone, but no orange balls. I think these might be related, and actually a corallimorph of a sort. Do yours have a short tube, like a tube worms?

I've been told that the regular Instant Ocean is lousy for corals, you need to be sure to use the Reef one, although it's been suggested to me there are better brands, I am now using Tropic Marin.

How many lbs of LS would you guess to get 4 inches of base in a 48X18 tank? It's a 110 gallon 30" tall tank. I'm thinking of getting the awful crushed stuff out and trying to salvage the LS I do have in there over it, there's about 60 lbs in there now.
