I have always used a 10X eye loop and my hubby thought I lost it over 8 years ago with my face right up against the glass to see "whats going on"!! Today ..... I still have my loop and a hand held magnifying glass at every tank!!

Nope - the brittle will not hurt anything. They are great for eating left over foods etc. I have lots of them in my reef. They don't grow very big ... maybe the size of a quarter to a 50 cent piece.

Sorry .. it was a long day. The question I should have asked was, did anyone think that these PPE's & other's looked that way because of the high salinity .... I now know that it's a bacteria. Most of them are in a QT tank now, and there has been some improvement already.

Question please .... I am setting up a QT tank for my paly's .... they have some sort of bacteria - Tell me if I'm wrong .... for zoo's, clean "new" water, filter with no carbon ( so's not to feed the bacteria ) a powerhead, heater & good light .... and they should be OK - right??? I will dip...

I think that this later problem with the polyps ... fungus or something - has been resolved. Attention for my plea for help is no longer required. ( see remarks on the Disease Bd.) Thanks anyways ....

Found one more nudi .... I am winning this battle!!!!! Second problem with the polyps .... they never looked bad at all ... I think that it just so happens that the nudi's like the polyps, or maybe I wouldn't have found this problem until they were dyeing or at least not opening up .... More...

I am not sure how they reproduce but I had 2 lg. pinkish ones to start with and the LFS said that they were reef safe. Then when I purchased frag rock I had 2-3 more so I put them in another tank. Now ... 4 months later, I must have 50 in each tank pluse a few in the nano. I was curious to see...
