    It depends on what type of Artemia that you are using. My LFS carries a brand from San Fransisco that comes in several grades. The Gold grade is the smallest when hatched and of much better quality. I spoke with the supplier in San Fransisco and he recommened the Gold grade for the ponies...

    I'm considering layering my 8 inch sand with layers~ LR, LS, LR, LS...etc. The purpose is to leave more wiggle room for sand bed cleaners such as narsisus snails. Has anyone layered their substrate beds?
