I have a LFS that sells CA pumps rated at 750 for $40. Pretty darn cheap and so far the 2 I have work like a charm, very quite also. Anyone else have experience with the CA pumps. They seem to be very good pumps for the money and am curious to know of others experiences with them.

It took mine around a week or so before they starting eating. If you are able to get live brine try that. Live food is very good at getting fish to eat and once they start eating they will usually adapt to almost anything. Good luck with them.

It may work with pH4 calibration fluid. Not sure. I know for SW they say to use 7 and 10 and for FW they say to use 4 and 7.

I sit my pumps on the suction cups they come with and keep them away from the sump walls. The only noise I hear is from the pumps and thats not very load.
