bheron, Just like Stumpdog said start you tank off with the uncured live rock. Once your tank is established and you want to add more live rock then go with the cured.

I agree with Jefflg. I wasn't changing out equipement, but I moved 2 tanks one 100 gallon FO about 45 miles. Tear down and set back up in about 6 hours all lived. I also tore down and set up a 65 gallon reef moved it about 45 miles set back up in about 10 hours ditto all lived.

I sold a friend of mine my 65 gallon reef. when he took it home and set it up he purchased 3 clams not sure what kind but my old cleaner shrimp, fire shrimp & sally light foots ate them. Just for what its worth.:cool:

Just curious. My LFS guy says that its possible to give your fish potentialing a disease from feeding them live brine. He even sells it in his store but he said thier is a chance. You guys haven't had any problems?
