    Removing Copper

Well, I don't think I have to worry about the silicone as it's an acrylic hexagon tank... So unless the acrylic absorbs it that should be ok... And I have no substrate or rock in there... It only has water... I'll give it a good cleaning and then set it back up and test the copper... Is...

    Removing Copper

Well, I do plan on emptying the tank completely and letting it cycle properly.. It was purchased in an emergency situation with a fish that was sick. I just want to make sure there are no traces of copper or disease left in it for when I go to use it again....

    Removing Copper

Hi all, I have an acrylic QT set up and used Coppersafe to treat a fish... Now that I am done using it for treatment, what is the most reliable way to disinfect the tank and eliminate the residual copper. Also, what about my filter... Can it be used again? It's a Bio-wheel. Any suggestions...

    Ocellaris's Last Stripe Turning Gray

One of my Ocellaris Clown's last stripe near his tail is looking more gray than white. Especially compared to his mate... There are no noticible behavior changes, and the only other issue going on is a Royal Grama is being QT'd due to Ich. The Grama was in the tank for a couple of days before he...

What do you do with your clown when the QT needs to be used as a QT or Hospital Tank? And if your answer is you put him in your display, how does he adjust being moved around?

    Q-tip Transformation

Ok, so I have a Q-tip sponge in my tank, and over the past two weeks or so it has been transforming into a mutant Q-tip... Looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure what is going on... I've attached the best picture I can get... Basically all over the sides it is growing these almost antlerish...

    Anyone know what this is?

Well, I guess I will just wait and see... I have a handful of individuals in my tank that are really tiny and no where near one and other... So far none of the pictures I have seen of hydroids really resemble mine, but they have similar properties... There is also an anemone called a lined...
